Graduates who have attained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in psychology from a higher education institution in Greece have already received a license to practice psychology according to the relevant law 991/1979 (ΦΕΚ 278 τ. Α0-12-1979), as modified by the provisions of law 2646/1998 (ΦΕΚ 236 τ. Α0.10.1998). Graduates of the program, who have a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree are also entitled to practice adhering to their profession’s licensing specifications.

The qualification is a terminal award and allows access to doctoral studies leading to a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD)
