Σύντομο Βιογραφικό – Παναγιώτης Σπανάκης
Ολοκλήρωσα το διδακτορικό μου στην Ψυχολογία του Εθισμού στο University of Liverpool, στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο το 2019 και το μεταπτυχιακό μου στην Κλινική και Αναπτυξιακή Ψυχοπαθολογία στο VU University of Amsterdam στην Ολλανδία το 2014. Έλαβα το βασικό μου πτυχίο στην Ψυχολογία από το Πανεπιστήμιο Κρήτης το 2010. Έχω εργαστεί ως ερευνητής και διδακτικό προσωπικό στο University of Liverpool, Addiction and Appetite Lab, Department/School of Psychology (2014 – 2018) και ως ερευνητής στο Department of Health Sciences, University of York (2020 – 2021). Έχω επίσης υπάρξει εξωτερικός ερευνητικός συνεργάτης στο Kings College London, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience και στο Εθνικό Συστήματος Υγείας του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου (NHS), στο Τμήμα Έρευνας και Ανάπτυξης του ψυχιατρικού νοσοκομείου Foss Park Hospital στο York. Διετέλεσα μέλος επιστημονικών δικτύων στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, όπως το Closing the Gap Network και το Αpplied Research Collaboration – Mental and Physical Multimorbidity theme, τα οποία στοχεύουν στην διερεύνηση των ανισοτήτων σε θέματα υγείας σε πληθυσμούς με σοβαρές ψυχιατρικές διαταραχές. Το Μάρτιο του 2022 εντάχθηκα στο δυναμικό του Τμήματος Ψυχολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης ως συμβασιούχος καθηγητής και το 2023 εξελέγη Εργαστηριακό Διδακτικό Προσωπικό (Ε.ΔΙ.Π.) Ψυχολογίας των Εξαρτήσεων.
